What a tree-t!
Tourists taking the opportunity to snap pictures in front of the 100-foot tall Christmas tree at the KLCC Esplanade outside Suria KLCC as it is lit up in the evening. The Christmas tree, which will be on display until Jan 2, 2018, was recognised by the ‘Malaysia Book of Records’ as the tallest Christmas tree in Malaysia in 2014 and 2015. This year, Suria KLCC has chosen the theme ‘Santa’s Enchanted Village’ for the Christmas decorations. GLENN GUAN/The Star

World Largest Musical Fountain at Dubai Mall
The Dubai Fountain is a record-setting choreographed fountain system set on the 30-acre manmade Burj Khalifa Lake, at the center of the Downtown Dubai development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
It was designed by WET Design, the California-based company responsible for the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel Lake in Las Vegas. Illuminated by 6,600 lights and 25 colored projectors, it is 275 m (902 ft) long and shoots water 150 m (490 ft) into the air (equivalent to a 50-story building), accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music.
It was built at a cost of AED 800 million (USD 218 million).
